My Photography Style
My art is all about capturing the real connections you have with your loved ones. I am not a "sit and smile for the camera" type of gal. I am going to connect with you, get to know you, guide you with natural prompts, ask you how you are feeling throughout the process (it's the therapist in me!) and together we are going to create pieces for your home that will last over time.

FAQ
When is the best time to book my maternity photos?
I like to do maternity photoshoots between 30-36 weeks. However, if you are having twins or have a history or going into labor early we can do it as early as 25 weeks.
When should I schedule my newborn photos?
If you want to capture the newness of your little love (that smooshy, sleepy and brand new to earth stage) schedule your newborn session for 2-3 weeks after baby arrives. However, I know this is a challenging time for a lot of Mamas so if you need to push photos off until 1 or 2 months that is also totally fine! I am very flexible with timelines and I want to make sure everyone involved is comfortable with the timing of things.
What if my child does not behave for our family photoshoot?
Kids LOVE photoshoots with me! We will explore, play, run, jump, twirl and laugh. Children thrive when they are given the power and that is what I will do with your kiddos during our shoot. I will encourage them to check out their new environment and ask them what they think will look goof for their photos! Kid also love to see themselves with their families and I am always turning my camera around to show them! A little treat at the end also never hurts!
What happens if I schedule a shoot and it is supposed to rain?
I am happy to find another date + time that works! I check the hourly weather and will make a decision based on that.
How should I style my family for our family photoshoot?
Neutral colors and patterns in earth tones (shades of brown, green, tan and rust) always look great with my editing style! Try to mix in different textures or small prints to bring everything together. I love dresses with movement for Mom and daughters (maxi dresses or skirts) which can really bring the photos to life. Everyone should coordinate, but not match.
Can you help me with styling my session?
YES! I love styling photoshoots and will definitely walk you through the process! I also have a client closet with different options for Mom and daughters.
What is the best location for my maternity photoshoot?
This totally depends on the vibe you are going for and we will talk through this together! Are you a beach gal or maybe more of a woodsy type?! I have different locations for many different styles.
